Commission me!

If you love the colour combinations and designs here at Kraken Kreations but fancy something bespoke, I’m happy to create an item that is unique to you. Perhaps you want an extra-long toiletry bag, a tote with shorter handles, bigger bunting or more specialised items such as a pocketed pencil case, flippy smartphone cover or a child’s toy bag with a name embroidered onto it. All you have to do is email me at with your ideas and requirements and between the two of us we will come up with the perfect solution, just as I did with the cross-body zipped slouch below.  Believe me, no question is too daft and no request is too small or large and you can see the commissions I’ve already done here.

During the process I’ll ask you several questions just to make sure that I’m creating your perfect product. I’ll ask you for measurements, if it’s appropriate to the product, your favourite fabric (just check my fabric directory) and whether you want to use your product in particular circumstances such as on dog walks or on the beach. You’re also welcome to send me pics of items you have seen, or even a pic of an item you already have, that has inspired you. One customer chose two of my fabrics and requested they both be used in this bag, making it truly unique:

More than that, I’m happy to apply names, initials or phrases on products whether this is with embroidery, felt or applique. It could be the name of the recipient and inspirational message or even your favourite swear word (yes, I’ve actually done it).

If you don’t want one of the fabrics used on the site I am happy to either source fabric for you or to send you the links of reputable online fabric shops so you can browse at your own leisure. I will then order in the fabric myself if you’d prefer. I won’t start work on a commission until we have agreed a price and a design, however detailed you would like the design to be. Then I’ll request payment from you and crack on with making your chosen product as soon as it has been received.

Finally, feel free to check out my testimonials which will give you an idea of customer satisfaction (believe me, it is staggeringly high). So what are you waiting for? Send me your ideas, however vague or perfectly formed, and together we’ll create magic (or at the very least spectacular accessories and home decor).

Hello, I see from facebook that daughter Eleanor in New Zealand bought an item from you recently. It occurred to me that I know she’s looking for a teapot cover/cosy for her 6 cup traditional round teapot. She’s a real tea fan (no tea bags). I wonder if you make such an item. It would need to have a little padding to it – the aim being to keep the tea warm for a while. I know that she was thinking of knitting one eventually but has time constraints. Please let me know if this would be possible. If so, it would be a present for her and I’d ask you to send it to NZ , but a secret in the meantime.

    Cathryn!!
I need totes, totes I tell you. 2 of your brightest and finest please. Our beach bodies didn’t quite work out so we need something fabulous to distract the gazes of the Frenchies when we launch ourselves on to the beach.
    Ta love!

    Hi Kath,
I’m trying to buy a Tote bag for my trip to Italy next Friday but the PayPal account linked to my email here at work has my Company credit card imbedded.
Would you accept a cheque in the post today.
    Kind regards,
    Sarah Norris

I would accept a cheque but won’t be able to send you the bag until it has cleared, making it too late for Friday. Could you pay me with a debit or credit card via Paypal instead? I shall email this to you too, to save as much time as poss!

Ok, so I’m totally loving the slouch bag, it measures 95cm from the apex of the strap to the bottom, can I check is that the base of the bag, just that I’d like that measurement to be to the top of the bag, if that makes any sense as im quite tall and round! I’ve been playing around with photo layout to choose the two patterns I like best and think I have finally decided on the acid flowers and the multicoloured peacock feathers – do they go? Can the strap be longer?

    Hello!
Could I ask you to make a tote bag in the fabric Green Dogs

    • Gemma Cooper July 4, 2017 at 4:28 am Permalink

Sorry, bit of a technical error there!

There should at the very least be a “I love your stuff”, a “look forward to hearing from you” and a “thanks”

      Thanks,

      Gemma
